Our Staff

The staff at CVA Consulting Services is diverse, and had wide-ranging experience in the gathering, documenting, and presentation of mitigating evidence in capital cases. The support staff processed cases, constructs timelines and family genograms, conducts research, and issues requests for documents. CVA also has several seasoned mitigation specialists who fan out to various cities and locales in the Unites States as well as abroad to conduct life history investigations, search for case-related documents and records, and to seek out and interview witnesses. CVA also has one member of the staff who retains responsibility for maintaining contact with clients who are serving time in prison. Such contact takes the form of emotional support, by staying in communication with them through an exchange of cards, letters, and telephone calls, remembering them on holidays and special occasion (like birthdays), and at times even financial support.
